Mission Statement

The Humber is recognised as one of the most important estuaries in Europe for wildlife and is designated as a European Marine Site.  The Humber Management Scheme is a partnership of 34 relevant authorities that have a statutory role in the management of the Humber Estuary.  The schemes overall aim is “subject to natural change, maintain the favourable condition of the site through the sustainable management of activities”.

This Outside Body has been identified as one that requires a report back from the appointee.
