Mission Statement:

The core purpose of The Wash and North Norfolk Marine Partnership (WNNMP) is to assist Relevant Authorities and local agencies in implementing the U.K. Habitats Regulations relevant to The Wash and North Norfolk Marine Protected Area (MPA) network (formerly the European Marine Site, EMS). Specifically, the Partnership works to maintain/achieve favourable conservation status for the interest features for which the area has been designated, whilst balancing sustainable use/development of the area (including Boston).

WNNMP’s mission is to “To protect, restore and enhance nature; mitigate and build resilience to key pressures; and realise lasting, integrated benefits for people and place, through collaborative and innovative approaches.
